Privacy
SlotQuote gives service businesses an online price, booking page and invoices. This page says what we keep about you, why, who else sees it, and when it's deleted. We don't sell your information, show ads or use tracking.

If you book with a business
When you get a price and book, we keep what you give us:
- your name, email and phone number;
- your address, if the job is at your place;
- your answers, the price and the time you chose;
- any notes, and any photos you add.
We use these so the business can do the job and reach you, and to send you your confirmation, your link to change or cancel, and any invoice. The business you book with decides how it uses your booking; SlotQuote keeps it on the business's behalf. For anything about a booking, contact the business. Their phone number is on your confirmation.
Photos are resized in your browser before they're sent, which also removes hidden details such as where a photo was taken. Only the business can see them.
If you run a business on SlotQuote
We keep your email address, your business name, town and phone number, your prices and your hours. Your booking page shows your business name, town, phone number and prices to the public; your email address stays private.
Payments
Card payments happen on Stripe's own payment page. SlotQuote never sees or stores card numbers. Stripe receives your email address and the amount, and pays the money straight to the business's own Stripe account. When a business connects Stripe, Stripe receives the owner's email address and business name to set up their account. Stripe's handling of your payment is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
Who else handles your information
A few companies run parts of SlotQuote for us, and only for that:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and customer photos. Its "are you human" check on booking and sign-up sees your IP address and browser.
- Resend delivers our emails, so it sees your email address and what the email says.
- Stripe handles card payments, as above.
Cookies
SlotQuote sets one cookie, and only for business owners: it keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and signing out removes it. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Photos you add to a booking | Deleted 90 days after the job |
| Your link to change or cancel a booking | Stops working 30 days after the job |
| Your name, email, phone, address and notes on a booking | Removed 2 years after the job |
| Invoices | Kept by the business as its records. Your link to a paid or cancelled invoice closes 2 years after it was sent. |
| Your IP address (and, for bookings, your email) in our limits against misuse | About a day |
| Sign-in links for business owners | 15 minutes, and they work once |
| A business sign-up that's never confirmed | Deleted after 7 days |
Deleted information can stay in Cloudflare's automatic database backups for up to about a month before it's gone for good.
Your choices
- To see, correct or delete the details on a booking, ask the business you booked with. They can also cancel it, and so can you, from the link in your confirmation.
- Business owners can change their details in Prices & hours. To close your account and delete your business's information, email us at privacy@yakoub.net.
- Anyone can write to that address with a question about their information. We'll answer within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Every page is served over an encrypted connection. Links in our emails are long random codes that can't be guessed, and sign-in needs a fresh link sent to your email; there are no passwords to steal.
Children
SlotQuote is for booking and running services, and isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
